Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the Peter Scargill English School website and the educational services we provide, in accordance with applicable laws of Poland and the European Union, including:

1. Services

Peter Scargill English School provides English language instruction, including one free trial lesson and multiple paid lesson packages for individuals.

2. Booking

Each new user is entitled to one free trial lesson. Further participation in lessons requires booking paid services.

Offer of Contract

Receiving the bank account details from us constitutes a commercial offer (under Article 66 of the Polish Civil Code and Directive 2011/83/EU). By making a payment, you accept this offer, and a legally binding contract is formed for the delivery of language instruction services.

3. Payment

Payment is accepted via bank transfer in EUR or PLN. Full invoice information will be issued according to Polish VAT regulations.

4. Cancellations

You may cancel or reschedule a lesson at no charge if done more than 24 hours in advance. If cancelled less than 24 hours before the scheduled time, the lesson is non-refundable and considered consumed.

5. Copyright

All learning materials provided (PDFs, presentations, exercises) are the intellectual property of Peter Scargill English School and protected under Directive 2001/29/EC and Polish copyright law. Reproduction or redistribution is strictly prohibited.

6. Liability

We are not responsible for issues caused by third-party platforms (such as Zoom or email services), internet outages, or user-side technical errors. However, we will make reasonable efforts to resolve or reschedule affected sessions.

7. Jurisdiction

This agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Poland and relevant European Union regulations. Any disputes shall be resolved by competent Polish courts, unless consumer protection regulations specify otherwise.
